Quisol

Hello! My name is Joseph Quisol and I'm an artist, educator and organizer based in Oakland, California. I create music, direct videos and host regular live music events in the bay area and across the United States. Thank you for supporting me on my journey! I'm excited to keep creating and building community with you!

Right now, my main projects revolve around building a queer artist of color collective based in the East Bay and working towards my next studio project and music video, which I plan to put out under the name 'Other Planets'

Other planets describes how I feel like an alien in the world, with a confusing past and even ethnic identity, but also, how I have visions of alternative worlds that I actively work towards creating. Other Planets embraces this otherness while also serving as a call to dream up new possibilities for our communities.
