It's time to ditch the disposables and join the zero-waste period revolution! Have you made the switch yet?

Hello, my name is Liz. I am a maker out of Rhode Island bringing you organic reusable cloth menstrual pads for a modern period. I'm using patreon to offer monthly deliveries of pads right to your doorstep when you need them, at discounted rates.

Why make the switch to reusables?
  1. They're cheaper. It is estimated that the average menstruator will use well above 10,000 disposables in their lifetime, costing thousands of dollars. A stash of reusables lasts many years and will cost around $500 for a lifetime supply.
  2. They're better for the environment. Those disposable tampons, pads, and pantyliners? They end up in landfills, the ocean, and polluting our public spaces. Making the switch to a zero-waste period is saying "NO!" to throw-away culture that values "convenience" over conscientiousness.
  3. They're not toxic. Manufacturers of disposable pads and tampons are not required to list the materials with which their products are made. Independent testing has found disposable tampons and pads to contain: pthalates, dioxin, pesticides, chloroform, and other volatile organic compounds and carcinogens (womensvoices.org). rabbit + bear co. reusable pads are made with organic cotton, hemp and bamboo fleece, and a Windpro fleece backer.
  4. They feel better. Most likely due to the toxic materials they're made with, disposable pads are extremely irritating to such a sensitive area. Cloth pads are extremely comfortable and non-irritating. In fact, they will probably make you look forward to your period (at least a little bit more than you did before).
Thank you for your support + bleed happy!
