Art is an expression, just like language, and it allows us to share a deep part of ourselves, as well as helping us feel connected to the world.

I connect through the practice of making and I like to use clay as it is from the earth. This wonder material is made from particles of the universe, past civilisations, flora and fauna, and a myriad of geological wonders! It sounds silly but I am passionate about it - for me there is no other material that offers this connection and history.

I have been making with clay for 14 years and I am keen to turn it into a full time artistic career. I have so many ideas for projects that I want to share with you all...and realise!

By becoming a patron, you are helping me towards my goal of becoming a full time artist....BUT that's not it... you'll also get amazing access privileges into the world of a ceramic artist that includes:

* access to exclusive online content that will give you a behind the scenes look into my studio and making practice - i'll regularly share thoughts, ideas for future projects, short videos, sketches as well as photographs of my on-going work so you can see how it all comes together

* the opportunity to feed into my creative process with ideas, feedback and creative crits

* loads of other great stuff like artist updates, merchandise, exclusive offers and the chance to purchase my work

I'm currently focussed on our beautiful oceans, the life they create and harbour, and how precious they are to us all as a resource and as a life-sustaining force....which is what my current body of work "from the dark sea" is all about.

So why not sign-up and take a peek into my world...i'd love to share my journey with you 🙂
