About RADDISH: Radical Dishes Cooperative

RADDISH: Radical Dishes Cooperative is a queer, vegan grassroots organization committed to providing nutritious, home-cooked meals to homeless youth and other marginalized communities in Atlanta.

The primary goal of our organization is to supply sustainable, ethically-sourced food for those in need, and though RADDISH is primarily focused on serving the queer community, we are an organization built on a foundation of ethics rather than identity. Anyone who has the desire to be involved in an intersectional and horizontally organized service community is welcome.

Beyond our weekly meal prep, we are engaged in various advocacy projects promoting compassion and humanization of marginalized groups, like the homeless and the incarcerated.  Some examples of these projects include Letters to LGBTQ+ Georgia Prisoners, and Hygiene Kits for the Homeless.

We are a completely volunteer-based organization, and we source funding primarily by selling DIY, handmade merchandise, hosting the occasional fundraiser event, and receiving small donations from individual donors.
