About
Radio Free Skaro is possibly the most popular, prolific, and charmingly irreverent (but never irrelevant) Doctor Who podcast around. Since August 2006, hosts Warren (in Vancouver, BC) and Steven (in Edmonton, AB) have provided listeners with their brand of amusing Doctor Who praise and punishment. A year later, Chris (also in Edmonton, AB) joined the team, and The Three Who Rule were born.
Recommended by Doctor Who Magazine, voted most popular Doctor Who podcast by members of Gallifrey Base and thrice long-listed for the Best Fancast Hugo Award, Radio Free Skaro provides an entertaining and diverting listen for diehard and casual Doctor Who fans alike. Weekly episodes follow a loose magazine format in which the three hosts discuss the news and events of the past week in the Doctor Who universe. Extra features include interviews with the brightest Doctor Who luminaries, fan commentaries for classic and new series episodes of Doctor Who, and the massively popular Miniscope segment profiling a writer, director, or composer. Radio Free Skaro is also the official podcast of Gallifrey One, the world’s largest and longest-running fan-run Doctor Who convention, kicking off the convention each year with a popular live stage show.

We at Radio Free Skaro love Doctor Who, and we've been putting out quality podcasts since 2006. We still love doing it, week in and week out. We've interviewed dozens of the cast and crew, attended conventions, and provided commentary and opinion on all eras of Doctor Who history.
Over the years, we've had many people tell us they'd like to give us money to help out with the podcast. How nice of them! But, really, how could we possibly charge money to talk about a TV show we love so dearly? Well, we can't in good conscience, because we're Canadian, and we try to be humble.
However, if you're enjoying the show and you want to chuck a dollar or two in the Patreon tin, we'd genuinely appreciate it. Server fees are a monthly reality, and we do try to get the best audio equipment we can. We want to make sure Radio Free Skaro sounds as good as it possibly can.
There are currently no special rewards for people who pay more, no higher tier of listeners to whom we will cater. We'll continue to do this show every week with the same amount of passion and joy as we've always done, and we hope you all enjoy it enough to listen. Whether you want to kick in some cash or use your Consumcard, credit bars, or narg notes while doing so, is entirely up to you.
Thanks!
