I'm Rob, if you've stumbled on this Patreon, you probably know me as rastating. I've been creating software and educational material for a long time and have always insisted on keeping it free and open-source.

The main focus of my software over the last few years has been revolving around security. The software I create tries to:
  1. Help others stay safe on the Internet
  2. Help penetration testers on the job
Following quite a lot of events, including a cancer diagnosis, I am also trying to create software to aid people with health issues. During caring for myself and other close ones who have acquired new ailments, I have found there is some room for software to help with day to day things; all of which is currently monetised, with no real free alternatives available.

Although the idea of Patreon is to allow people to unlock rewards via different tiers, I strongly believe in keeping my work available to everyone, regardless of their financial status. So, this Patreon page will be used only for previews of things I have in the works and to allow people to have a say in what things they'd like to see me teach and create, with the end product always being available to the public.
