The goal of this channel/show/boondoggle is to create a community using humor, reason, nuance, and philosophy to cover and discuss the world’s political and financial news (not advice) in order to both make our lives and the lives of those around us better and to have a laugh.

Reasonable
$5 or more per month
This more than reasonable amount helps drive the meme of reasonable conversations and the resulting benefits forward. It also helps keeps this channel ad-free and far less prone to the potential maligned incentives of not doing so.

You are now a paying customer and a driving force in determining where this operation goes. As such, your feedback or suggestions are especially helpful in determining the trajectory of this operation.

Thank you for expressing your confidence that the value you receive or expect to receive (or expect others to receive) from this operation is worthy of this level of support. I will do my best to continue to deliver on your confidence now and in the years to come.

Do you find this channel and its benefits and potential benefits to be of approximately twice the value of a subscription to Netflix? If so, this is the level for you. I will do my best to make this operation at least twice as valuable as an average quality Netflix comedy special.
BOOM
$30 or more per month
For those of you who see eye to eye with the vision of what I'm trying to do here and have the means to skyrocket that mission forward. I am honored that you would offer such support and will use the proceeds to continue, improve, and grow this operation.
Tippy-Top Tip-Top Kek!
$50 or more per month
Upon learning of your support at this level, I envision that I will feel a contemporaneous minor twitch in the Deep State's life force like a disturbed Eye of Sauron.
1-on-1 Disc. for Long-Run Value Creation
$1,111 or more per month
Do you have a business or project of your own for which you have a grand vision? Research shows that honest conversations about critical subjects and accountability are hugely impactful on long-term results.

Through reasonable honest conversations and regular accountability, I will make my goal to help you think through what has happened (and perhaps why it did happen) in the past and consider what actions may be taken in both the present/short-run and the future/long-run with the goal of achieving a better expectation of your desired results.

We will meet (digitally) once/week with the following approximate road map:

-Defining your long-term vision for your operation.

-Considering the necessary major steps, milestones, and projected timeline by which that aim will come to fruition.

-Breaking down those major steps into short-term actions, long-term plans, and tangible short and long-term results.

-Continually accounting for the results of those actions, how they relate to the long-term aim, and re-adjusting accordingly.

I expect the initial phase of this relationship to take about 2-6 months, or generally about the time it takes to cement a new (or a few new) habit(s) plus a bit more. After that, I expect it will be clear in what manner it makes sense to proceed.

Not sure if it's worth the cost? I don't know your situation, so I don't either! Here's how I may approach a similar offer: Consider the potential additional value such a relationship may have on the results of your end goal and the likelihood (probability) that it would do so. Multiply the value times the probability and you have your expected value. (i.e. if your end goal is worth $1mm and you think this deal may increase the odds of achieving it in the manner and time you wish to do so by 10%, your expected value is $100,000. Of course, these numbers are unknowable and, of course, are no guarantee of anything, but are meant to be an example of how one might think in a potentially useful manner about the situation.) If your expected value is greater than the cost and you can afford it, it may be a good deal. If not, then it may not be. =D

As for my perspective of costs and benefits, I expect my compensation for this deal will approximately similar to that of an accountant in which I have delivered value to businesses in similar ways (with outstanding reviews) for many years. This deal is meant to be a distillation of where and how I believe I've added the most value in previous deals. As such (and as always), my aim is to provide more value than I receive. (Win/wins make for a bright future!)

Goals
5% complete
When I reach this amount, I can turn this beast into a sustainable business including better equipment, better production, and assurance that the show will go on well into the future. (I don't plan on retiring until I'm well old.)
