Please support Red Flag Radio, a weekly revolutionary socialist podcast made in Melbourne. The podcast discusses activism, history, theory and politics with guests who are part of the struggle for a livable planet and a better world. Episodes are available on Spotify, iTunes and all major podcast platforms, but we want to reach a bigger audience.
The show is hosted by Roz Ward who is a socialist, author, educator, unionist, activist and co-founder of Safe Schools Coalition. Guests include writers, historians, organisers and activists who are part of the struggles to save the planet and change the world. The podcast is produced by Liam Ward who is a filmmaker, lecturer, unionist and socialist activist.
Red Flag newspaper is Australia's leading socialist newspaper. Our print issue features analysis, radical history, Marxist theory and artwork from some of the best left wing writers, designers and artists in the country. Red Flag is a not-for-profit publication and does not accept corporate advertising.
Where does the money go? We spend your money on improving guest audio by getting better equipment, investing in resources to allow outside broadcasting, being able to travel to interview more guests, being able to pay expenses so our volunteers are not out of pocket, and investing in new series and promotions to help socialist politics reach a broader audience. We have lots of other ideas for expanding the show if we get your support!
Please note: patron rewards will typically be sent no sooner than two months after your support is initiated. If people drop their support early we lose money if we send the reward too soon.
