About Finn Weddle

How do we quickly and effectively regenerate our landscape, and how do we do it in a way that makes sure we’re taking care of people?

Well, that's where it all began for me. One question, so many answers.

But there was soon one answer which drowned out the rest. One possibility, one imagined reality which, if realised, could tip the economy in favour of the planet's ecologies and the human communities that steward them. This answer, I believe, lies in truly regenerative livelihoods, where our activism is in alignment with our daily work.

So I set up this podcast. On the back of years of research and a deep dive into my own relationship with work, money and activism, I am hoping to spark a unique and open dialogue around how we - as seekers of change - can save the economy from the madness of itself.

Why? Well, I want to know how people are already creating a livelihood which is nourishing and sustaining for the self, the wider community and the whole planet, so that more of us can do the same. I want to share uplifting stories about lives being lived with a purpose, and about people and businesses who are proud to boast a large and restorative ecological footprint in the world.

This channel is dedicated to those whose "passion for the cause" has led them, at times, to burnout, to dark places where they would wish no others need to go. It is inspired by the entrepreneurs and activists who have already dedicated years of their lives to seeking positive change in the world. And it is intrigued and curious about the role of money and modern-day economies in facilitating a more regenerative culture to come into being.

The Regenerative Livelihood Podcast can be found wherever you find your podcasts. (If not, err...let me know!)

This page and project is endorsed by the beautiful people of Permaculture Association (Britain) and Permaculture Magazine. They have been instrumental in shaping my thinking to date and are helping this podcast reach a wider audience, for which I am grateful.

I am eternally grateful to Mike Love, singer and composer of 'Permanent Holiday', for use of his song and to the many people who have made this project more awesome than if they hadn't been involved at all.
