Two comics a week!
More Greasy Space
Monkeys! I'd love to update bi-weekly, but paying the bills comes first. This amount would let me
say no to enough freelance work that I can create a whole 'nother strip a week about
ridiculous things happening to schmucks in space. Yay!
About
Hi! I'm Reine. Usually I'm found huddled over a tablet in the wee hours of the night, spending far too much time worrying about whether I've drawn some minor piece of background detail right.
I currently draw and write the webcomic Greasy Space Monkeys with the help of editor and writer Mark Kestler. I've been employed in the video games industry for the last ten years, 3d modelling, concept artisting, writing, and generally doing what was required. While it's been a totally awesome dream job, I've always had this itch to go and pursue my own creations.
About two years ago I started my first real attempt at a comic. And it dawned on me how much I like making them. I don't want to stop. Please consider making my obsession a reality, and help me share my crazy stories with the world. Thank you :)

Hello, and welcome to my Patreon page!
If you're here, it's probably because of Greasy Space Monkeys, the comic that I write and draw with the help of editor and writer Mark Kestler. You may already know how Patreon works. If that's the case you can skip these next few paragraphs, or sing along if you know the words.
What is Greasy Space Monkeys?

It's a comic featuring the adventures of two idiots in a dead end job on a run-down space station, and currently updates on Friday every week.
What's a Patreon?
Patreon's model is basically like a
tip jar, supporting the creators whose work you love so that they can
continue to create. You pledge an amount that you'd like to donate
each month (or by creation if the creator has it set that way), and
it automatically conducts the transaction every month. You can set a
limit on your donations if you have a tight budget. You can pledge as
much or as little as suits you, safe in the cozy knowledge that it is
the cumulative effort of the community that keeps each project
afloat.
The added bonus of this system is that we can easily share extras with you guys! Kinda like a cool club or something.
Why contribute?
Contributing to this Patreon supports my ability to create content. For me, each dollar becomes time I can spend creating more cool stuff for you guys. I'd like to see Greasy Space Monkeys continue well into the future and release more often (see the stretch rewards ). Contributing is a vote for me as a creator, my projects and your desire to see more of them. Any amount helps.
You will also get the first glimpses into my super secret second comic project which is coming very soon. Shh!

Is the strip becoming subscriber only?
Nope! Greasy Space
Monkeys will remain free, online to read, now and in the future, as
long as I can spare the time financially. Becoming a Patron is
directly supporting the comic so I can keep making it, but it will
always be free to read.
What about Mr. Kestler?
Patreon is currently set up to support creators rather than projects. This particular Patreon page includes support for both GSM and a very-soon-to-be-released full page comic which is a solo endeavor. I'll be passing on some of the revenue to our mysterious editor/writer, don't you worry!
