 Writers write, they say.

Write what you know, they say.

They say a number of things about writing. Many of those 'things' contain a good bit of wisdom, yes, but in my journey I've learned some things. This is the place where I will collect all those bits and piece them together into what may one day become my book about writing. (Think Stephen King's 'On Writing' except, you know, me.)

As strongly as I feel that art and creativity are vital to the health and well being of a society, there must be others who feel so too, right? Now more than ever, I believe the voice of the creatives must be heard. Creativity is activism. Representation matters. We are the media.

Will you help?

For just $1 a month you can help me reach my goal of writing full time.  Check out the nifty list to the right. This is the part where I have to be brave and honest and real. Part of this is experiment, and part of this is necessity. Let's see what happens, shall we?
