I'll be able to make some kind of living from my comic (as has been my dream since I was a wee young'n) and be able to devote more time to working on it.

I'm a 22 year old digital artist. I like a lot of different things and I hope that comes across in my artwork. I'm trying to launch a career as a freelance artist but that's a work-in-progress.

Hi everyone, I'm Rinkelle and I've been drawing for ages.
What I'm putting most of my effort into is Xenobiosis, a project I've been working since about 2009 when I first came up with the idea one afternoon. After several failed comic attempts and a failed light novel attempt the comic has finally been brought to light in late 2013.
I also have some comics I'm working on on the side, mainly The Queen's Jewel and Mnemosyne, but I can't work on these as often as I would like to since most of my energy goes into Xenobiosis and freelance work.
What is Xenobiosis?
This is a fantasy/adventure story about a 16 year old half Demon-half Angel girl, Lilith Angelica Vautrin, trying to find a place for herself in a world filled with supernatural beings and mythological creatures. It follows the life of Lilith over the course of several years as she struggles to find acceptance and her real parents in a terrifying and powerful world. As of right now new pages are posted online every Monday morning, PST.
What does 'xenobiosis' mean?
Xenobiosis means "symbiosis in which members of two species of ants live together in the same nest but do not rear their young in common". Definition courtesy Mirriam-Webster.com Obviously the comic isn't about ants, but the definition applies regardless.
What is Patreon? What do I do?
Patreon allows you to continually support artists. Basically: you select the amount you want to donate (it can be as low or as high as you want) and once a month, that money goes to me and will help increase page production, fund advertising campaigns, get merchandise made, etc. It also allows you special access to behind-the-scenes stuff like concept sketches, drawing streams, and more (once I think of other kinds of rewards).
Awesome, right? The more you donate, the bigger your rewards (I'll add more rewards as I'm able to do them)!
My Goals!
I would like to one day update Xenobiosis more than once a week. It's a long story and I'd like to get to the good parts faster than one page per week. I also would like to be able to work on the side stories for Xeno I've been planning, but due to freelance/commission work I do I don't have the time or energy to put as much effort into those stories as I'd like to.
I also want to be able to work on one of my other projects in more than short bursts when there's a lull in Xeno work and I'm not busy with freelance stuff.
