Welcome to Rivervine! I am your host, Gwen Clayton. Inspired by the many ghost stories of the Old West, I created this fictional city as a setting for my novels. "Fermata Cellars" was published in 2016, and was the first book in the Rivervine Trilogy. Its sequel, "Zinfandel's Grimoire," was released November 2020. I am currently working on the third book, to be released in 2022. These are many more stories burning to be told. But in order for the characters to come to life, they need patrons like you to rescue them from their oppressive palls of obscurity. They beg you to dance with them in the vineyards on moonless nights where the skies are so clear you can see the shadows of the stars themselves. Rivervine is more than just a made-up location. It is a sort of Utopia—a haven for those of us who yearn to explore magic and fantasia, all while enjoying a spicy, bold red. I even have a couple twists to religious history. Where scribes and scholars have omitted information, I have taken some liberties. So, join me in this venture and together, we can sustain the muse.
