We are going to add more membership tiers once the number of patrons increases! There could be a commercial license for PlotOptiX, printed posters, and more exclusive benefits - your vote will have an impact.

About

Displaying large data sets is not easy with popular Python packages - try making a plot of 1M points in 3D with matplotlib, for example. PlotOptiX solves that problem with an aesthetic, ray-tracing based approach.

Data visualisation in Python. GPU accelerated, nice and easy.

At  RnD Team Studio we develop PlotOptiX package as an academic free software. Become our patron to speed-up work on new features and gain access to the high-res content!

PlotOptiX is a Python API to low-level libraries and CUDA shaders we develop in our every-day creative work. The package is based on NVIDIA OptiX 7 framework. Windows and Linux operating systems are supported. You'll find installation steps and documentation here.

Our aim is to develop package for a high quality data visualization, suitable for making images for scientific and business presentations as well as for creating generative art.

Install PlotOptiX with PyPI.
