About Robomakery

Hello & thank you for your support!

At Robomakery we are working to create open-source service robots for people with physical disabilities.  Our first project, the PVC Chair, is an open hardware and software power wheelchair for young kids, designed to be safe, functional, and low-cost.  The team is based in San Diego and meets monthly as part of the San Diego Robotics Club.  Please consider supporting us with a monthly pledge so we can help bring the exciting advances in electronics, open-source software, and robotics to the community of people with disabilities.  We are a volunteer team, although we occasionally hire contractors for specific tasks outside of our collective skill-set.  The money you pledge will be used to buy parts for prototypes and other build related costs.

Thank you!
