Hello! My name is Camilla, and I'm a musician with many other interests. The three things that give me most creative satisfaction are singing, playing my guitar and writing my own songs.

I occasionally share some opinions and experiences around making music, writing songs, creativity and personal experience on my roots & engines blog. I plan to share my high-quality recordings here before I release them into the wider world.

What kind of music will you hear?
I'm a classical musician by training - opera school dropout turned musicologist -, yet the guitar was my first love. After singing, that is :) I discovered Goth the year I quit music school and Metal two or three later. My style is wildly varied, currently between classical-inspired music and folk-style ballads. Here and there, a showtune-like melody will peek through, or an electronic backing will support my mezzo-soprano. You will hear ballads for spaceships as well as hymns to deities from old myths.
Occasionally I love to play with synthesizer emulators and make an EBM-adjacent electronica track.

Most of my music is made using Open Source Software!
