I've been creating webcomics for over a decade. Some of my past series are YU+ME: dream, I Was Kidnapped by Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space!!! and Darlin' It's Betta Down Where It's Wetta, to name a few. I've also contributed to anthologies like Smut Peddler, Side B, and Monster Anthology. I tend to focus on female characters, with lots of queer and body-positive content. I want to actively court readers who aren't normally represented in comics.
My main project right now is a comic called Meaty Yogurt. It's been going since October 2010. The story is about a town with a curse: if you're born there, you'll die there, too. You can leave whenever you want, but you always come back. You can live a long and happy life, but nothing noteworthy or exciting. Jackie Monroe is trying to beat the odds and find a way around the curse, and live a less ordinary life that will go down in the history books. It's been updating every Monday. I'd like to get back to doing a comic on a MWF schedule, so there's some milestone goals for that.
I've also been working on my autobiographical series, Comic Stripper, in which I recount my adventures as a traveling burlesque performer known as Florence of Alabia. I have over 300 pages pencilled. I'd like to start inking more of those and sharing them with the world.
I'll be setting up a sketch blog with exclusive drawings, behind-the-scenes of the making of the pages, and snippets of the script. If you're interested in how I create comics, this is an excellent way to see all the details. Now includes "Jackie's high school xanga diary," a totally cannon, patreon-exclusive look into all of Jackie's beautifully awkward teenage years.
Rewards are below. Simple for now, but I'd like to expand upon them as we all get used to this beautiful new relationship.
