I write songs. Chances are... they're a big part of why you're here.

The Stories

$5
per month
I write songs, but you've probably noticed they tend to exist as part of a larger framework. I like to build worlds for my songs to populate... where the characters in the songs stand up and cast their own shadows.

For $5 per month, you'll get the behind-the-scenes stories of the songs. You'll get to watch (and listen) as ideas grow into phone recordings, which become acoustic demos and eventually - full blown releases. Follow the songs, but also the stories... all the way from my brain to your speakers.

The Extended Universe

$10
per month
I write songs, but also poetry and short stories. I design merchandise and album artwork. I like to experiment with still images and video, and I love to explore ways in which my music can be enhanced by other art-forms. I love to collaborate with other artists and musicians.

For $10 per month, you'll get everything from the other tiers PLUS exclusive access to the Extended Ryan M. Brewer artistic universe. In addition to collaborations, co-writes, side-projects and one-offs... you'll also receive at least 2 physical pieces of merchandise in the mail per year.

About Ryan M. Brewer

My name is Ryan. I write songs.

Near constantly, actually. It's almost compulsive. And as such… tends to lead to relatively uncompromised art. Because I’ll be doing this shit whether you hear it or not.

But I spend a lot of time preoccupied with troubling questions like…

“Can I package uncompromised art for commerce, without compromising the art itself by nature of commercialization?”

“Can the art even really be made in an uncompromised environment when the same guy making it is the same one eventually trying to sell it?”

Does all this talk seem like high-philosophical nonsense? Of course it does!

Does it seem like I should pull myself back out of the weeds and spend more time doing what I'm good at... or at least spend less time fretting over the rest? Of course it seems that way.

That's what I'm trying to accomplish by moving the focal point of my artistic energy here... to Patreon.

Here, I make the music and you decide your own level of involvement.
