Professionally I am a game designer and web developer. Personally I am a christian, husband and father - both biologically and foster/adoptive. My goal for connecting here on Patreon is to create an additional revenue stream for home renovations so my wife and I can better support the children in our care.

As a board game developer I have 1 published game (Nightfall), 2 nearly ready for publishing (Just in Time and Rubberbanditos) and 1 more that I've started working on (Protoplanets). I post my progress on BoardGameGeek.com and will be posting prototype process and game play videos here as well.

Follow along with game development progress:

As a web developer I prefer functional programming and write in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and PHP. The only framework I currently incorporate is jQuery and the software I use includes Atom, Filezilla and Firefox. I'll be recording while developing websites and uploading to YouTube to help folks hone their own skills and further explain any bits that folks are struggling with.

Some projects I plan on developing this way include:
  • Simple chatroom that mimics some IRC chat commands
  • Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe game to play online
  • Site for coordinating game nights with friends
  • Some others that I'll reveal later on

As a woodworker I mostly build simple projects to renovate our home or as commissioned by friends and family to help improve theirs. So far I specialize in larger items such as tables, chairs, benches, beds, etc.

Here on Patreon I'll be posting build progress and the plans I use or develop so others can build as well.

Some recent builds I intend to provide plans for:
  • Shelves
  • Twin bed
  • Twin bunk bed
  • Planter box
  • Bench without back
  • Bench with back
$0 of $500 per month
My immediate goal is to be able to make steady progress on home renovations. Our house is older and there are plenty of small projects waiting to be tackled.
