First I would like to thank all my readers and patrons who have followed me here and continue to support my work. Thank you.

My name is Chiamaka "ChiChi" Kennedy, and I spend a lot of time writing. On this platform, I curate them using the "Salute to Jollof" brand. I am a mid thirties Nigerian woman, now living in England.  Writing is my first love and I have written for as long as I can remember.

For 7 years, I treated writing as a hobby while working in international development, an area that I am passionate about, particularly the protection of vulnerable groups and the reduction of disease burden. You can find my light read "living and loving" content on my freedom square where I have a variety of free content. You can find one of my earliest short stories here and my latest social commentary here. This space will allow me to carry on writing in a sustainable way, while I raise a family. I write poetry, plays, short fiction, record podcasts and curate some of my favourite landscape photographs. Most importantly, I am currently researching and writing a political satire which I would like to produce. Your support would enable me to finalise the Jolliness series, and pay actors and producers to bring it to life.

Patreon as a platform is a brilliant idea, and I jumped at the opportunity of putting my work directly out there to interested and paying patrons. These are very exciting times, the internet provides an incredible opportunity to writers like myself, to keep pushing and plodding along. The whole point of writing is to have someone read your work, thus publishing my work on patreon is an excellent way to keep me going, as a stay at home mum of almost two little sprogs, I find time to write in between. The subscription angle makes  it a sustainable way to keep the research and fiction writing going—and that's where you come in!

How does it work?
A reader can contribute whatever amount they wish to, per month and the contribution or subscription fee is recurring each month. You will find below my list of subscription fees; anything from $2 per month, are very dearly appreciated. The most poignant way to describe it is to  view it like your cheaper Netflix subscription, the only difference is that a lot of my content is free, and that when you subscribe, you are rewarded for your level of subscription.

Do tell your friends about my work and invite them to subscribe. Please share the free content on your social platforms. Thank you.

Goals
5 of 600 patrons
When I reach 600 patrons, I will begin to adapt my script to produce the play series. Hopefully, this community will support my plan to pay producers, writers and artists, to make the Jolliness series.
