Sam Burchfield

My name is Sam Burchfield, and I am a songwriter by trade. Over the past several years I've felt more and more that creating art should exist outside of huge corporate systems. Services like Spotify, iTunes, Pandora etc. make artists rely on large corporations to connect with fans and patrons. Instead of artisans who work within a village, we've become commodities on a shelf in a superstore. I hope to create my own village on this page, where people can engage with me and my music in a more direct and meaningful way.

I want to try using Patreon as a more direct way to connect with people and to share the music I'm making. This page is my sketch book, my voice memo, my canvas and my studio. I hope we can truly connect in a deep and meaningful way, thank you for being a patron of my art.
