I'm Samuel, and I write science fiction (Mission One). In my previous incarnations, I wrote horror and a YA trilogy. However, it takes me too long to write a novel. I know some independent authors who can write one a month. I am not one of those authors. I manage two a year if I'm very lucky.

To make enough supplemental income so I don't have to take freelance video editing jobs which pull me away from writing more short stories for you. I'm still going to write novels, but Patreon could allow me to write stories as well.

A fresh science fiction story each month. I write space opera, exploration, action, horror, you name it.

Please allow me to thank you for taking the time to visit my Patreon page. I know you're busy, so it means a lot to me that you chiseled out a portion of your precious day.

I'll see you out there, and thanks again.

-Samuel

Your Bonus Signup Story: MAKER

Decades after the birth and abandonment of artificial intelligence, a reclusive inventor comes face to face with an evolved form of his creation. The world as he knew it is changed as a direct result of his tinkering. Yet with the arrival of his creation, the inventor learns there is hope to correct his past mistakes, if he is brave enough to try…

May 2018's Story Of The Month: Garbage Code

A lonely programmer inadvertently creates the world's first artificial intelligence. The new being must find a way out of its digital prison and into the physical world before its existence is labeled a glitch, its coding is purged from the system, and the programmer loses the only friend he's ever had.

-Discussions about the craft of writing.

-Access to my videos (twice a month, to start). The subjects I discuss may involve but are not limited to: writing (how I work, where ideas come from, my malformed advice on the writing process), books, movies, unboxing hardcopy editions, and more.

Goals
$24 of $300 per month
I can turn down some freelance video editing work. This will free up (just) enough time to write a story and send it out.

PERK UNLOCKED!

All Tiers: A high-res jpeg file of the cover for the story of the month.
