Pro-tools
As my Patreon account increases, I'll keep putting more back into artists. That is how I found Patreon in the first place. Art and music are so, so valuable and I want to keep helping people remember that. But, this could also allow me to bring you a bunch more songs by being able to buy and study Pro-tools with The Professor. The more mastering I can do the more my creativity will blossom into songs and videos to share with you!
Voice lessons, Guitar Lessons and Kitten!
More instruction = better tunes. Kitten = music video hilarity.
I've got a whole bunch of songs in my head...some written out, some demoed for my second album. It's hard to keep up. It would be great to delegate some duties so I could keep up with the tunes.
About
I like to write smart, contemplative songs. And also techno. I hope you like them, too. I find creativity to be like weather - comes and goes. Sometimes it's powerful and exhausting and sometimes it's peaceful and nourishing. It's impossible to force. Which is what scales are for. :) My plan is to use the Patreon account to create a community and I want you to feel a part of my creative process. You're investing in my work monetarily and I'm so grateful. So, so grateful! There is so much more music in me.
I'm a lifelong musician. The daughter of a deep-thinking poet and a harmony-obsessed choral singer. I grew up on the music my parents grew up on...Beach Boys, Beatles, Carole King, Paul Simon, Emmylou Harris, The Everly Brothers. My mom played The Temptations around the house constantly. When you mix that with my classical piano and choral training I think you can hear where my style comes from. I like things that are fun and hard.
I've lived in every part of the country and would love to live in Europe someday. My friends describe me as pathologically curious, generous, insightful and funny. I love to tell stories and make people laugh so I might try to do some of that on here if I get some requests.

I like to write songs. I love to sing harmony. I have a metaphor-centered brain. I so dearly hope that these combine into something that enriches your life. If they do, I would be honored if you helped me to keep creating. You will not be charged more than one time per week. If I feel inspired to do extra videos, they will be free.
It's important to me that the music I release is empowering. I have chosen not to use Autotune and to skip most of the plug-ins that nearly all music has over vocals, especially, these days. I feel like the flaws in music make it so much more engaging, but they also are inviting. If I can make an album, you can too. I hope you hear yourself in my music. If you feel inspired and want some pointers, contact me. I'd love to share what I've learned.
