Our shows will always be free, but we can't do it without the generous support of our listeners. Thank you for helping us keep the lights on and the tape running. Expect a thank-you on an episode of your favorite show (let us know where you want to hear it).
We might ask for your mailing address. Not saying you will get something in the mail, but not saying you won't, either...
The AlmaMAC: a thirty-minute radio show on 93.3 CFMU about graduate students at McMaster University in Canada. Hosted weekly on a rotating host schedule (Adam Fortais, Shawn Hercules, and Matthew Berry)
Random Walk: a show about interesting things host Adam Fortais stumbles upon. Topics generally include research as it is applied to the world of education, media, and well... pretty much anywhere else. Presented monthly.
The Gamer's Guide to Ecology: Host Jessie deHaan takes you on a tour through some of the most beautifully crafted and compelling environments in gaming. Jessie did a Master's degree in Ecology and Evolution at Brock University on the thermal ecophysiology of a native bee species. In their spare time (as much as a grad student can have), Jessie likes to play open-world, survival and RPG video games. Oh, and of course, be sure to follow Jessie on Twitter and Twitch.
Science Communicators put a lot of time and effort into their work, and often don't get paid. We will not commission work until we are sure we can compensate our contributors.
At 25 patrons, we can ensure that we can afford to pay guest contributors every few months.
