Tēnā koutou katoa. Ko Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa te iwi, ko Takitimu te waka, ko Scout Barbour-Evans ahau. My name is Scout Barbour-Evans, and I am an activist and community leader in Dunedin, New Zealand.

My activism has lead me to many corners of Aotearoa, and I am primarily an environmentalist, a decolonization activist, and a health care activist. My mahi has lead me to become a qualified mental health support worker, and I am passionate about holistic, accessible health care.

I am embarking on a new project in 2018 - I will be studying a Bachelor of Leadership for Change at Otago Polytechnic. This will involve placements in other cities and overseas, so that I can learn the skills required for my project which is centred around bringing adequate healthcare to marginalized communities in Dunedin and beyond. Money I earn through Patreon will help me with my learning, living and travel costs so that I can be the best Scout I can be.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me to support us all.

Ngā mihi nui,
Scout Barbour-Evans
