This will free up A LOT of my time, so I think it's about time I put more of it towards comic-making, right? Instead of 6 updates a month, we'll up it to 8 updates a month for The Muse Mentor! This means an update every Monday AND Friday, rather than just every-OTHER-Monday and every Friday. Dang!
All grown-up pro!
Should we ever reach this goal - well - making comics is now my full-time job. I can guarantee a monthly batch of Harlowe Vanished pages, and supplemental material galore for all future projects. It's a good life!

Hi! First and foremost, thanks for checking out my humble comic-making journey. My name is Amy, and I'm a freelancer who has been playing at making comics since I was pretty young, and I LOVE the medium. It kinda packs everything I adore into one neat package - character dynamics, story-telling, illustration, and ample room for trying out new material. What's not to like?
About the comics that I make!
I am currently making two webcomics, although one has yet to launch. The first, and the one you can go read right now is The Muse Mentor; a long-form, full-color comic about personified thoughts, impulses, notions, and muses, trying to coexist on the mental plane. However it's also about Mona, a notion who doesn't know her function and decides to try and take up the creative works of muses instead, because why not? I have been consistently updating it with minimal interruption since its launch in June 2012. Harlowe Vanished (that will link you to the development blog) will be beginning in October of 2015, and concerns itself with a teenage girl who loves the ocean and ambitiously pursues her interests, but is afraid of her future, struggling with anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. It also involves Altus, a world very different from Earth.
Why I have come to Patreon:
I want to dedicate more time to The Muse Mentor and Harlowe Vanished. It's really that simple. It would be amazing to make the production of comics into my job - I mean, isn't that the dream? I just need to make sure my bills and rent will be paid, so I have a place to set up shop to do the work.
How does payment work for this Patreon?
I am asking for payment monthly. I had begun this Patreon on a per page payment basis, BUT, thanks to the generosity and support of my patrons, I have been able to keep on track with consistent updates. I now feel fully confident and ready to be paid on a monthly basis for updates that I know will be dependable, steady, and on-time. Plus, this way, you ALWAYS know EXACTLY what you are giving month to month - no confusing spending caps or other tricky budgeting math going on. And at the highest personal reward tier, for $20 a month, it's not just the activity stream, it's not just the request streams, but you can get one picture a month, full body, featuring some crisp inks and flat colors, most likely with added props in there, too.
