Hi there, my name's Stephen Keating and I'm a digital archivist and librarian beginning work on my Ph.D. at the University of Washington in Seattle starting in September 2014.  I'm attempting to raise money for a digital library project I've created for videogames at servare.org

I plan to use the money I receive here to spend on upgrading server capacity and service for my users.  Because I don't intend to make money via ad revenue, I'm hoping that the digital videogame art library can receive support through Patreon and be used by artists, academics and others interested in videogame art.

In addition to this, I would like be able to spend time to add additional features as well as functionality for my users to allow them to quickly and easily find the art they are looking for.  Part of this research will involve creating a metadata profile to allow for quick searching and finding for users.  Curation as well as responsiveness to users is also something deeply important to me, and attempting to build a quality-intensive art library requires a lot of work and negotiation.  With more time to work on the project, both of these aspects have an unlimited potential for growth.

I'm not really sure how to do rewards, so um, at this level I'm mostly open to suggestions about what you think would be best for the future of this project.  Please let me know!
Goals
$0 of $250 per month
At this amount, we can afford a dedicated server which will allow for true freedom in handling the artwork database as well as improving responsiveness to user queries.
