Hi there!
I'm Pavel Zhuravlev, an independent artist. I make wild clay ceramics of primitive way, only hands and stones as tools and firing in primitive wood fire kiln. My works is filled with the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, which is very close to me.
Welcome to wild)
Wild clay is a stones, sand and clay mixed by the Universe. I seek to keep the beauty of this mix in my ceramic artwork. I leave stones and sand as it is and open the wild clay to show its nature.
I take wild clay in the my lovely forest. This is a very beautiful forest and here I will show this for you.
I firing my ceramics in a small primitive kiln where firewood flame closely contacts a pieces. Small space of kiln give finely detailed textures on the ceramic surfaces from the flame of the wood. It is always unpredictable, unexpected and unique. Here I will show you the process.
Your support will greatly help me to continue my art. I will share my discoveries and tutorials with you.
Thank you!
