Hi there, Welcome to this little part of Patreon for SimToolkitPro.

SimToolkitPro is a free, cross simulator instructor station and landing training tool for FSX, Prepar3d v3 and v4, and X-Plane 10 and 11. It is a one-man development adventure into an exciting hobby!

You can freely download SimToolkitPro here - https://simtoolkitpro.co.uk/get/

What can it do?
In its current "alpha" state it has a few core functions. Currently active is a comprehensive airport database, a live map using google earth with flight tracking, some basic streaming tools to output flight data and an early version of the landing training tool.

The landing training tool is a configurable approach practice system that can place your aircraft on direct, vector, base or downwind approach at any airport you chose with configurable weather and conditions. It will then record a large amount of flight data and produce a report when the plane has come to a stop on the runway.

You will be presented with a full graded report showing touchdown speed, angles, centreline deviation, distance from threshold and stopping distance, this will be saved with the condition information so you can compare it in the future.

You can also select a STAR for the airport and be positioned on intercept for the first waypoint in it.

Full Feature Set

  • Weather presets and custom weather builder
  • Detailed weather building system with several presets
  • Real world weather and drop it into the sim

  • Text to speech engine for audible notifications when using a single screen
  • Extended support for X-Plane 11
    • Basic scenery manager
    • WebFMC support
    • Flight Factor A320 EFB Support
What will it do?
I have a growing list of things to add to the toolkit, but top of that list are Failures systems, expanding the reports based on user feedback

Why free?
The flight simulation hobby is not a cheap one, between hardware, the simulator, addon scenery, aircraft and upto date navigational charts, it can get super expensive.

I was trying to break into simulation on a budget and wanted a tool to get better at landing, so I wrote one and I want to give it back to the sim community.

Why Patreon?
I'm looking at using Patreon to fund the more expensive side of developing the software. Specifically things like authenticode certificates for signing the application, and providing access to payware aircraft such that I can ensure the compatibility of SimToolkitPro.

Alternatively I could have looked at selling SimToolkitPro to fund things or locked parts of the application behind paywalls to fund development, but that isn't my mindset. I'm hoping that people who find SimToolkitPro useful, and are in a position to help, do so.

I am struggling to find rewards for the tiers, if you have any suggestions please let me know on discord!
