About Skeptical Podcast

Skeptical is a podcast that investigates stories of inmates who claim they have been wrongfully convicted. In our first season, we discuss the murder of Michael Bernos, a teacher and coach from a small town in Alabama who was found dead in his home in July of 1994. His adoptive son, Daniel Blan, was convicted of the crime and has spent 22 years behind bars. He claims he's innocent, but is he telling the truth?

We're hunting for the answer by reviewing case files, speaking to witnesses, and taking a unbiased look at the evidence. Is he truly guilty? Or is this a case of extreme injustice? We'll unravel the case week-by-week, and at the end of ten episodes, we want you to decide.

Our Patreon supporters gain access to exclusive bonus content including extended audio interviews, host commentaries, photos, videos, and more.

Tune in to Skeptical every Tuesday at 4:00pm on iTunes, Google Play Music, or wherever you get your podcasts.
