We're looking to create part of a new era of comics, based around weird new characters having fun adventures that any audience can enjoy.  100% of the funding goes directly to the artists for these projects.  We need your help to get the art paid for.  All backers can be given a free copy of the comic you help fund.

CURRENT PROJECT:
Literally, issue #1.  Yes, that's the name of the comic!  It's about a fat 12 year old dorky girl who's trying to manage her life in those awkward teenage years, keeping up with school work, trying to gain social validation, and also going to alien planets and blowing up demon monsters in her big big mech.  Will she defeat the demons without becoming them?  Can she get her crush to return her feelings?  Can laser cannons melt the fillings of alien demons, and do alien demons have fillings or dentistry in the first place?  Some of these questions may be answered!

The video included here contains a reading of the entire script for the first issue, so don't watch it if you don't want it spoiled, but DO watch it if you DO want it spoiled, and if you want to know what kind of goofy comics you'd be funding by backing this patreon.

BACKBURNER PROJECTS:  All of these have fully finished scripts, and are just looking for artists to draw them.

Stay Woke, a story about black teens with superpowers on the run from the police and from government agents looking to capture them, but they both guard a mysterious secret that throws their adventure into question.  This is one of the more serious stories, it's more of a character drama, three issues, and it's already fully written.

Over Ripe, a ridiculous story about some sort of dystopian (or just normal topian) future where orange is banned.  Just orange, it's completely banned, the color and the fruit and the word.  So it's like Equilibrium but for oranges, and slightly less gun kata.

Safe Space, a single-issue story about an awful weeby reclusive writer and his sassy black lady maid who have to fend off invading murderers who are looking to kill him for mocking them in one of his books.  This one's like Home Alone but with a ton more violence, so maybe it's funnier?

Kill Everything, a parody of arena battle manga, starring everyone's (or some people's) favorite sexy werewolf girl, Laily.  This was a free comic jam story where the first chapter was drawn by several people, but it's fully written, so there's plenty of content waiting to be drawn, if I were to use patreon money to pay for it, but this is way down on the list.

King Wolf Heretic, one of the more serious stories, also with werewolves, about a young man who's been held prisoner in a secluded house in a forest, his parents refusing to let him out.  One day he finds out he's a werewolf, and as he escapes into the world outside, he realizes the various dangers he was being kept from.

She Can Never Sleep, post-zombie-apocalypse story, because everyone has one, except the zombies are more like feral quadruped mutants.  This is a short adventure story of one girl and her sub machinegun trying to get from her mission objective back to the safety of her home.  Along the way, she runs into situations with other survivors who have become deluded to the threat outside their walls.

Who is Laily?
She's a character from one of the first "serious" comics I've written, going back almost two decades now, but she's also a sort of mascot for our goal of creating comics liberated from the social demand that "comics must only be like X or Y or Z."  Laily's way is that comics can be like anything, and can have anything that appeals to anyone.  She's all about freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of choice.  And also freedom of big fat tits.  That's why she's our mascot.
