my name is Nina and welcome to the Snail Mail Society ! I go by they/them pronouns, live in Montreal with my partner Larry and sphynx cat Vashti, and I make a lot of art. 🌈

When I was starting out my hard core full time artist lifestyle, I wanted to challenge myself to make stuff every month. And since I make a ton of art no matter what, it’s nice that some of it gets shared to people directly. That’s why, in the winter of 2020 I started the Snail Mail Society! Every month I send out a small collection of some of my favourite things I’ve made, pack it and ship it to wherever you are. If you like perzines, drawings, comics, stickers, stationery, original handmade one of a kind objects and getting surprises, then you’ve found the right place. 🐌

I try to make an interesting mix of things that will brighten your day and maybe even be useful to you. I’m very open to suggestions and feedback, since a lot of my freshest ideas are inspired by and for the Snail Mail Society, and this project is constantly changing and evolving. 🌱

And lastly, although I do my best to ship everything by the first of the month, stuff happens. Although I started this Patreon as a celebration of slow, hand made, self directed life, the reality of a freelance artist is you have to juggle a lot of different jobs all the time time. Also, once I’ve mailed your order I have no control over how slow or fast it will get to you! If ever there’s an issue please message me and we’ll figure it out. ✨
