If you don't have a particular song in mind, you may also choose a favorite culture, era, or language and leave the choosing up to me! The only rule is that (should you choose the song yourself) it must be in the public domain—aka, the person who wrote it needs to be pretty dead. (Very dead, in fact...like hundreds of years dead....and if they are anonymous, in true folk song fashion, all the better).
