Because Your Kids Will Love You
If you really want to be a patron of the arts, then this is the tier for you. Also, we’ll thank you at the end of a story for supporting the podcast. Email us at [email protected] with your location, last name, as well as the names of any children you would like to be thanked. (Please provide pronunciation tips for any hard to pronounce names)
Dedicating a Show
If you support us on this level for 3 months or more (or an equivalent one-time donation), you can dedicate an entire episode to someone you love. We'll read your dedication at the beginning of a show. This is a great way to do something special for your kids, grandchildren, students, etc. Please email us at [email protected] if you're interested in sponsoring an episode. Also, if you wish to make a one-time donation, just set your donation level to $75 and cancel your sponsorship later.
About Sophie and Sebastian
I'm Conrad van Dyk, the creator of Sophie and Sebastian, a podcast of stories (and sometimes poems) for the child in all of us. Most stories are around 10-15 minutes long, and I try to capture something of the beauty of childhood, nature, community, and life itself. Although the stories are often somewhat nonsensical, they are written from a Christian perspective, and seek to provide wholesome entertainment.
Become a Patron and have access to every story without the intro and promotional content plus bonus content. Each story is also available on my website (http://sophieandsebastian.com/), as well as on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
In 2020 I started an exciting new series called Adventures with Uncle Frederick. You'll have to listen to these stories in serial format. As I have time I will continue to add more episodes.
At present I am working with the illustrator Will van Delft to self-publish a children's book of about 12 Sophie and Sebastian stories. Join us on Facebook (Sophie and Sebastian page) to follow along.
If you or you children have enjoyed the podcast, please consider making a donation. There are a lot of costs to podcasting, including web hosting, paying for illustrations, promotion, etc.
Another way to donate is by just writing a quick review. Even a line or two would be great! You can leave a review on Facebook or on whatever listening platform you use (iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play). Not only will you provide some encouragement, but you'll influence more people to try out the show!
