Together we'll connect to life more deeply and learn to be ourselves, in a rapidly changing world, so that we can innovate and achieve powerful results where we are needed most.

I just wrapped Season One of The Soul of Life, with 18 episodes, and will release Season Two, each week, starting February 5th.

My goal on Patreon is to get enough donations to keep The Soul of Life running through 2021. It's a big goal.

It takes me between 30-40 hours per week to produce each episode you hear. I don't outsource production--that means I do 100% of the planning, production and editing (the only thing I hire a professional for is audio mastering...@ about $100 per episode).

I'm going to need your help to continue releasing an episode each week. Here's why.

My "real" job is as the Clinical Director of my busy private psychotherapy practice, where I support a team of about a dozen psychotherapists and psychiatrists in their care of their counseling clients. Each month we serve dozens of people dealing with things like anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, anger, and sexuality. We also specialize in treating relationship problems, which includes things like infidelity, communication issues, parenting, intimacy, and preventing divorce.

I'm also a clinical provider of psychotherapy. For the last 20 years I've specialized in the clinical treatment of mental health, trauma, and relationship issues as a licensed clinical social worker. I believe we need each other in order to see our own suffering, to become curious about it, and to use pain in our life to teach us who we are and where we are meant to be.

I need to keep my attention on the important work of our clinic, and your support will enable me to hire people who can expedite my production workflow and allow me to keep to my ambitious goal of producing one podcast episode each week.

I have personal reasons why I started The Soul of Life podcast.

As I've shared in many places on The Soul of Life podcast I've been humbled this year by a personal experience with a form of depression.

My journey to health has led me to the humbling conclusion that the state-of-the-art understanding of "depression" or "burnout" in the mindbody are things we barely understand as a culture.

I want to change this. I want to raise the bar for emotional literacy and mental health care, one person at a time.

I believe there are lots people people like me out there--especially in the healthcare and mental health and helping professions--who can benefit from my conversations with people of all professional disciplines to learn how be more energized and more awake in our families, with our kids, our loved ones and with our work and financial goals.
