I'm not a "gear slut" by any means: we like to work with what we have until we can REALLY justify an upgrade. As it is, our current camera lens isn't great in low light, and we're having trouble getting wide enough shots. So we feel like it's time to get a better lens which will help us shoot different types of photos/videos!

Video Interview Series!!
In addition to the photos/stories I'd like to do short video interviews. This will give me the budget to hire 2nd shooters and an editor.

Dijon is a bay area based storyteller.
Since 2011 he has been walking the streets capturing stories for his ongoing street photography project SOULS OF SOCIETY. SOULS is connecting communities by telling uplifting stories that increase compassion, empathy, and spiritual awareness.
When not making art you can find Dijon drinking loose leaf tea and playing in the trees.

If I can get enough funds to make this my full time job, I will do more international traveling to get stories from all over the world. I have several cities I want to go to and explore with you guys. It’s going to be an epic year!
