About Spire Eaton


The Story
Recoil is a 14+ story about Kalo, a boy who discovers his powers through a deadly accident. He's promptly detained in a facility for people with super powers, where, unbeknownst to him, Kalo becomes the center of an experiment. Recoil will always be free to read here.

Pledging means you see Recoil content before anyone else. Chapter 8 is  posted several pages ahead, right here on patreon! I also share behind the scenes stuff and the occasional sketchbook. BUT if you don't like subscription models, you can Give me a ko-fi and I'll give you a Kalo.

The Author
Spire Eaton (he/him). I'm a queer, neurodivergent graphic designer that has lived up and down the east coast. Recoil is a way for me to describe how dangerous it can be to navigate a system that wasn't designed to help me and people like me. Making the comic has also taught me some things about myself. As I grow with this comic, I hope you join me for the ride!
