About Spitfire July
Holy shit hi welcome!!
I've been working with beads my entire life - my mom had a walk in closet full of every craft imaginable, and its literally in my blood to create. Ive done every type of bead craft: memory wire, pony bead keychains, perler bead magnets, and I finally found my happy place starting in 2011 with bead weaving, and in the last couple years, fringe.
There's minimal new and modern info out there to find for beading, and I want to add to the community. I learned off grainy pinterest photos and terrible outdated magazine, and had to work out the modern twists for myself, which was exhausitng and wasted tons of my time and products.
For as fun as it is, beading can be so intimidating to start, as can any new medium. What are you supposed to make? What colors do you use? What do all the different types of bead names mean? Is this brand okay? What about this one? How do you plan what you want to make?
I've gone through nearly 10 years of mistakes and problems and spent hours upon hours remaking, redesigning, and desperately googling my mistakes, and now I want to share tips, tricks, and simple patterns and color ideas with you!!
