Hello and welcome to my Patreon!

I've been riding horses since childhood. I wanted to be a professional equestrian (horse trainer, people trainer, horse breeder, ANYTHING). My sports of choice were eventing and dressage. But somewhere along the way, I got talked into getting a "real" job. So I turned to my second love, biology. Now here I am, almost a decade later, working on my masters degree, after working for 3 years after my bachelors, and I'm unhappy. I want to go back to horses. But can I? Should I?

So I started a blog. Right now this blog is mostly book reviews with some of my thoughts and aspirations. But I'll also bring in some of my science knowledge to do detailed posts about horses and science. I have a pile of books I purchased to learn about working in the horse world and running a facility. I plan to read and review each of them. Eventually, I'll also be synthesizing more of this information.

Patrons will only be charged for full length book reviews and science posts. My misc. thoughts and first impressions type book reviews will not count as a "creation". Patrons also get access to book reviews of horse related fiction novels or historical fiction. I have a whole bookshelf full of books we could cover. We could even do it like a book club, where you read along! Just let me know. Possibilities include: Native Dancer: The Grey Ghost. Hero of a Golden Age, National Velvet, Justin Morgan Had A Horse, and an assortment of mystery novels by Dick Francis. I also have some less well known novels we could cover.

Goals
$0 of $15 per Book Review and Science Post
Once we reach $15/post we'll start the fiction book reviews/book club.
