Hello dear friends. My name is Sister Diamond Mountain, and I am a biracial (Black/White) American monastic originally from the Deep South (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA).

I received ordination in the Plum Village Vietnamese Zen tradition headed by the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, but I am currently practicing as a mendicant nun, traveling and studying at various practice communities across the world.

My interests include practical application of the Buddha’s Teachings, a collective understanding of all Buddhist traditions, being in touch with nature, and the high Zen art of enjoying tea.

I am also open to receiving questions about the Path, and has personal experience with BIPoC, LGBTQ+, AA (drug and alcohol addiction) issues.

You can find more information about me, my writing, and my whereabouts on my website.
