How do we walk the path of spirit and stand up to injustice? Because at first, being an angry activist and a zen-ny spiritual person seem at odds with each other. Both want to change the world but we've made their roles separate.

What if we challenge the separation and see them as the same, combine them into something new and more powerful, a truly transformational leader? Because if we want to succeed at changing the world, we need to first redefine what is sacred to ALL.  What is sacred to ALL comes down to basic needs and rights - the ability to live without fear, without prejudice, in an environment that is cared for with an abundance of food and water. What is sacred to all is to change systems and laws so that human rights come first always. It’s not your omming or your ability to sit in meditation for 12 hours straight. It’s your capacity to embrace your humanity and apply your love with fierceness.

See what we’ve been learning in the world of spirituality and self development is only half of what it takes to live consciously and mindfully.

We’ve been great at learning how to be zen and powerful and reconnect with our guides and learn to manifest like a badass. What we haven’t been learning is how to apply those tools in the arena of political, social, economic and environmental justice.

We are powerful spiritual beings and it’s time to engage in our calling to move the evolution of our planet forward spiritually, socially, economically & environmentally. This new path is asking us to have a different relationship with our human responsibility.

This is a place to start the discussion to create a new transformational leadership model, one that transforms not just us, but the world we live in - we can redefine the sacred to include dismantling old systems that no longer serve the world.

I’m asking us to build a new paradigm of spiritual leadership - household, community and global leaders who understand the sacredness of our world’s pain and puts action into place for change to happen.

This is our opening.

It’s time to learn the next step in consciousness.
This is being Conscious (Take 2).

See, it's not that our spirituality or our spiritual practice is broken, it's that it's time to move it to the next level of consciousness, one that takes our collective humanity as seriously as our own soul.

As one of my Writing Patrons, I'd also like to let you know that the money raised here is going towards 2 specific projects. The first is the editing, design and publication for my current book, "Sacred Advocacy: A Spiritual Guide To Navigating Political, Social, Economic & Environmental Change in the World" as well as the design and marketing of an Ethical Shopping App to help end global slavery by creating more transparency in manufacturing of clothing found in department stores.
