About Me
Hi, my name is Christina M. Warren. I also go by the online pseudonym Starren Piece. I have an assortment of projects I'm working on right now, but the main two projects I'm focusing on are my webcomic Prismatic Star and my first ever music album. However, you'll also see me working on unrelated illustrations and music collabs on Bandhub.
By day, I devote myself to these projects as well as family obligations. By night, I work as an evening receptionist for an Assisted Living facility.
Enter the Realm of Stars...
Prismatic Star is a fantasy webcomic that updates approximately once a week. It is my main project, the one that updates the most regularly. It's a full-color story that takes place in a diverse universe.
Prismatic Star is a story about a seemingly normal, seemingly human woman named Maya and the discovery that she belongs to a race of humanoid pre-incarnations of stars. After being abandoned and without purpose all her life, this revelation comes as a shock to her.
On top of that, she's a Prismatic Star. Which basically boils down to her being... really important. The universe essentially relies on her now, as it is quickly spiraling into a cycle of destruction.
Maya - or Prismaya as she is truly named - is more than just a reluctant hero. She has no idea what she's doing, and when things get tough, she frequently decides to back out. Her actions will have major cosmic consequences that nobody is ready for.
Luckily, she doesn't have to work alone. She's quickly joined by her childhood friend Canada and a new wizard friend Xander. They make quite a team!
...or they will, anyway.
The comic is completely free for the public to read online. That will never change. Each page requires an average of 8-12 hours of work to complete - sometimes more. And since it updates weekly, it is by far the project I spend the most time on.
And I do occasional Speed Art videos, with plans to do more, and even tutorials, in the near future.

Musical Projects
Right now I'm in the writing stages of my very first EP!
Back when I had a greater income, I hired the extremely talented composer Saad Ali to put together some instrumentals for me. What we ended up with was 8 tracks of awesomeness. I'm over halfway through the writing process, and will likely be putting out one of these tracks as a single sometime soon. When I get a little further along, there'll be plenty of demos and such available for patrons to listen to and provide input for!
As you may know, I also have a history of doing video game based acapellas with original lyrics. I haven't done one in a long time, but I'm going to be returning to video game based music as well in the near future. One project I have on the backburner is a musical tribute to Super Mario RPG.
In the meantime, I've recently gotten into Bandhub and have started lending my voice to collaborations there.
