Who we are: Steamberry Studio is a small indie group located in beautiful and super sunny Australia. Our focus is the creation of narrative driven games such as visual novels. In addition to being a fascinating way of presenting stories, visual novels are a combination of many elements we specifically love to see in games: beautiful artwork, compelling stories, and a fun game experience! We have recently released our second project, Gilded Shadows, and are now focusing our efforts on a brand new project called When Stars Collide! As with all small studios, funding remains a primary speed bump in the development process. Our main goal is to produce games brimming with plot and characters to be explored and enjoyed. But creating an expansive world and engaging story with a varied cast of developed characters is not a quick or effortless endeavour. What we earn through Patreon will extend beyond any single project. A reliable source of funding allows us to create the games we want and the games you want to play by allowing us to expand our team to include programmers and artists who will speed up the process and make development a smoother, more efficient process. At the same time, pledging on Patreon gives you access to exclusive content that otherwise wouldn't see the light of day - concept art, tutorials, tips, early drafts, insight into our development process. It also lets you have a role in choosing what we work on next, things included in our future projects and so on. What can you find here? Posts on Patreon run the gamut of sneak peaks and sketches of game content, snippets of supplementary content (such as lore book content). Some tiers receive early access to game content, or additional game lore. There are occasional polls and posts about the development process as well.
