I create video tutorials (see example - big PLAY arrow above or at THIS VIDEO EXAMPLE ) on how to better market and leverage one's own original music online. Since the days of MP3.com (late 1990s) and the launch of iTunes distribution for independent labels and musicians in 2003, I've observed, and stayed current with cutting edge trends in online music technology. I became almost obsessed with this in a geeky kind of way and applied the techniques to my own music promotion. Many musician friends approached me for information about how to do what I do. I realized there is a need amongst most musicians to learn how to use the various online tools that exist for music promotion. Some of the tips pertain to specific companies. Those companies do not pay me to promote them or their services. Some of the videos simply show how to navigate services, as I believe a big part of music promotion success is being able to understand the listening customer's perspective when using any given service. I'm seeking funding from people who deem this valuable enough to spend $12 per year for the information. The videos are best viewed at high definition setting and full screen.
