Hey Gang! I'm Stev and I'm a 2D animator and illustrator. I'm currently teaching animations at a local college and do freelance work on top of trying to run a personal YouTube channel, StevRayBro! On my channel you can see me animate, draw, and talk about the cartoons I love. Man I love cartoons.

I want to start telling stories through animations and comics, but life can be tough juggling between teaching multiple classes, animating for a weekly web series, doing various freelance opportunities and then trying to maintain a YouTube channel. Forgive me if there's a week or two between updates, though I do try and do at least one video a week during rushes. 

I do so much work because I went to expensive art college and my student loan is greater than whatI could ever imagine. I pay $1,500 in student loan bills with most of it going towards interest. I wasn't the smartest kid and being the first generation in my family to go to college we didn't know which pitfalls to avoid. I've looked into refinance options but because I didn't know what the different between federal loans and private loans, my school's financial aide pointed me towards high interest private loans which makes a bulk of my student loan debt. 

AS A PATRON

I have some of the best fans in the world, one lovely lady made me a plushie of Kaiju my pet bearded dragon, some of them flew out from long distances to come see me at a local convention, and so many have hung out with me on my twitch streams. You guys means the world to me and it took a lot of prodding from friends and other creatives to actual sit down and make this page. I thought long and hard about what the rewards can be, and I hope you find them worth it. 


I want this to be a beneficial relationship between the artist and patrons, a way for me and my fans to grow closer as I continue to work on my craft for them. I just want to make people smile with my cartoons, and with your help I make this true.

WHAT I AM WORKING ON NOW 

I'm currently learning Toon Boom Harmony and jumping off from Adobe Flash. Its a hard transition but I know it'll be worth it. The brush alone is super superior to Flash. The learning curve is tough, but I will be able to speed up production on my cartoons ten fold once I learn the tools.

I'm also working on a short called Weight Lost starring my avatar character Stev and my bearded dragon Kaiju. Visually inspired by Steven Universe and Bee and Puppy Cat, and writing has much inspiration from Jaltoid. It will be a satirical look at my many attempts at trying to shed some pounds.
