Hello! Welcome to the Patreon page of Storybound Productions!

I'm Kaed, and hopefully you're here to learn more about the works me and Cervink do.

Who are we?
I'm a budding artist and writer living in Dallas, TX, and Cervink is a professional artist who lives in the vicinity of Memphis, TN.  We've been working together for several years to produce interactive multimedia content that people can read, enjoy, and participate in.

Why should I support?

Well,if you enjoy the content Cervink and myself produce and would like to see us produce more of it, then I encourage you to support this Patreon! We currently produce all this content largely as a hobby outside of full time employment, and without support from people like you, it will take a long time for any of them to progress significantly, and be largely impossible for us to explore new avenues of content, such as making multi-panel comics or interactive media!

What are we doing?
I started work on my stories as a hobby, doing quests on a /tgchan/ threads. I did not originally have a lot of artistic skill, and mainly focused on the writing aspect of the stories, while outsourcing the artwork for the stories to others who were more talented with visual media.  As a result, many of my early works suffered from jarring changes in art style and long hiatuses as artists I worked changed due to lost interest in the projects, lack of communication, or me no longer being able to afford to regularly fund them.

In the last couple years, however, me and Cervink began to work together.  This time, I also participated in making the artwork for the update, providing the colors to make it easier for them to quickly finish artwork updates.  During this time, I also began to develop an interest in animating, and as a result, our modus operandi is now that Cervink provides lines, and I provide colors and animation.

For example, this, one of our favorite results, is a both parts of a short animated fight scene from one of the stories:

Now, this obviously represented many hours of work work from both of us, and as a result, it is to date the most complicated collaborative work we have created, despite it being over a year old now. We don't have time or finances to spare for regular creation of extremely complicated media like this - yet! Most of our current updates involve much more limited animations if any.

What stories are we writing?
Right now, our focus is split between two primary works:

Moebius Acquisitions, a story set in a  cartoony sci-fi universe, focused around a glowbug-like alien thief and his team as they get into various illicit hijinks, and

Fiend Quest, a story set in a high fantasy setting of my own creation, where the protagonists are both summoned demons looking to gain power over the mortal world, and eventually end up butting heads with each other.

There are several other quest-like stories I have written in the past that are currently on hiatus (some of them for a very long time now), which could be revived at some point if this Patreon becomes successful enough, including such titles as:

"Archduke Azureblood", a story about a kobold sorcerer archduke written as a sequel to a completed Pathfinder campaign I played in
"Legacy Quest", which was written first but exists as a sort of prequel to Fiend Quest, starring a strange elemental creature who awakens in an unfamiliar world, and
"Apotheosis", about an arrogant dragon who sacrifices all his loyal followers to achieve divinity, only to discover that being a god without followers is not what he expected. (this one was also my attempt at doing artwork entirely on my own, so it doesn't look as nice as the others)

Where can I see these stories?
Most of them exist on tgchan, because that is the simplest medium that I have to work in that allows reader suggestions and feedback.  You can find thread tables of contents for them in these pages.

Moebius Acquisitions
Fiend Quest

Archduke Azureblood
Legacy Quest
Apotheosis

Myself and Cervink also both have a tumblr that you can browse, if you like (though hers is much more extensive than mine)

At this point we would be able to comfortably manage regular, weekly updates to stories instead of 'sporadically, maybe 1-2 a month if I have time'.  I could also start forming a schedule for updates.

Additionally, an Atremento sticker pack will be made for Telegram users!
