Street Books is a bicycle-powered mobile library serving people who live outside and at the margins in Portland, Oregon. Library patrons are issued an official Street Books library card with no ID or proof of address necessary. No fees, no fines for late or missing books. Our patrons are serious readers, and have checked out everything from Louis L'Amour to Noam Chomsky to Jackie Collins and Toni Morrison. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes to library operations and to buy books requested by our patrons.
It is huge to know you're behind us - we thank you so much!
