The streets bring together all sorts of people, from all walks of life, more than any other space. It’s the perfect place to meet strangers, so we set up and invite passers-by to join us for a spot of collage-making, a round of origami or some such pastime.
Other activities for strangers are more unusual, including games and practices like “hair-comb-therapy”, Blind Mate and the Guest Book.
There are so many undiscovered ways to bring strangers together – our aim is to share them to establish a creative culture of good will amongst strangers.
We need your help to do more of this. To organise as many events as we'd like and to create a network that helps others host events is, logistically, a bit like organising a festival.
To do it properly requires time, good communications, web design, video, photography, and so much more.
Our team of web and community organisers has the know-how and spirit, we just need more resources to do it properly.
We want to inspire people in cities everywhere to use the streets to meet others. It's as important now as ever for people to come together.
Please help us do it and brighten the city streets!
