Hi! I'll keep this simple. My name is Sudip. I'm right now in the doctoral program in Political Science at Rutgers University, where I research on issues of race, class and social justice as well as teach classes on Asian American politics. I also have a background in journalism with a Master's in Journalism from Georgetown and have published pieces at CNN, the Washington City Paper, Lancaster Newspapers, The Daily Gazette (Schenectady), The Jersey Journal, AsAm News, Reappropriate, Media Diversified (Writers of Colour), CounterPunch, New Politics, the Jaggery, the New Engagement, and am currently a staff writer at The Aerogram!

I am also an organizer with experience organizing with our local faculty and grad worker union and right now, am organizing with the Central Jersey chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, where I help in our campaign for tenants rights as well as co-chair our Political Education Committee.

All in all, I have a busy schedule but am proud of what I do and grateful as well. I view myself as an organizer of course as well as a writer hoping to expand the political imagination of readers as well as help in exploring concepts like revolution and justice together. I am a brown leftist writer who writes essays and stories for other brown and black leftists and anyone invested in building a world that is egalitarian and hopeful! Please support me as I continue to write stories and non-fiction pieces, on issues ranging from racial capitalism to stories that focus on the perspectives and experiences of working-class South Asian Americans! Your support would mean I get to continue writing on such topics, and would help in also, funding my work as it relates to spending days researching and interviewing and exploring areas around me.

Thank you so much!!!
