Who's behind Sun Labyrinth?
I am S. A. Welland, and I’m a writer and illustrator. I make interactive fiction games in a Renaissance/retro art style. My stories usually take place in historical settings, with dark or gothic literary themes.

Why Patreon?
Direct payment enables me to hire people (for things like music or proofreading), and keep working. It would also free me up to work on other projects, like tutorial videos.

Where does my money go?
The majority of it will go back into my work—i.e., equipment (like if my ancient graphics tablet ever dies), hiring out work (music, voice acting, sfx, etc), as well as for living and other expenses.

How often will you release content?
Games take a while to make, but updates will occur two or three times a week. Video timelapse/tutorial content will be updated one-two times a month.

Okay, I’d like to become a patron.
First, thank you. That means a lot to me. In return for your patronage, your name or preferred alias will be added to the credits of any project I am currently working on, and you will have access to  exclusive Patreon updates. Please read through the tiers for information on other Patreon rewards. And thank you again!

Okay, I’d like to become a patron, but only for a short time or a low tier.
Whatever works for you. All support is appreciated.
